This 1959 Ford Galaxie 500 embodies the bold design of late-1950s American cars, with its sleek, elongated body and distinctive tailfins. A genuine survivor, this two-door hardtop remains largely untouched and was once part of the Dennis Carpenter collection, adding to its historical appeal.

Finished in Raven Black, the body is impressively straight for its age, though the paint shows visible wear on the hood, roof, and trunk. It retains key styling elements such as the “Thunderbird” roofline, rear fender skirts, factory steel wheels with hubcaps, and classic whitewall tires. The chrome and trim are complete but exhibit some pitting consistent with age.

Inside, the original red vinyl interior with black inserts shows expected signs of use over time. The dashboard, headliner, and door panels remain in respectable condition, preserving the car’s authentic feel. The factory AM radio is still installed, though it will require servicing to be fully functional.
